Santana wants to help Brittany take off her coat though—you can just see it And then the lingering looks? Like I know people are taking issue with the waving thing and yes an actual conversation would have done wonders but Heya totally nailed this moment Sam turns around so quickly once he’s done giving a cursory greeting to Santana but Brittany stays turned around She doesn’t regret her decision to stay with Sam for the time being because she knows that ultimately it’s good for Santana to be in New York right now but at the same time she also realizes that being alone at this wedding is really hard for Santana… because goddamn it being with anyone but Santana at this wedding is hard for Brittany just the same She misses her girl so much—you can see it in her eyes And Santana? She tries so hard throughout this episode to show that she’s aloof—that it doesn’t matter that she’s alone and that she doesn’t care about anyone or anything because that’s just what she does when she feels vulnerable (and especially around people who aren’t Brittany) But here’s the thing: Anytime she catches a glimpse of Britt with Sam her whole face just falls Santana loved Valentine’s Day last year and she was excited about Mr. Schue’s wedding until she and Brittany broke up She just misses her girl so much okay? Naya and Heather totally made this a money moment even if it only happened in passing There’s still so much longing between these girls It sucks being at a wedding with anyone other than the person you love you know?
